National Sports Day (Snapshots)

“The miracle isn't that I finished. The miracle is that I had the courage to start.” Sports and games are important parts of our life and culture. The importance of any sport is the joy in playing it. Playing the game and playing it well is what sports is all about. 29th August was celebrated as the National Sports Day, named after the ‘Hockey ka Jadoogar’ Major Dhyan Chand. To highlight the importance of this day, Gyan Devi Salwan Montessori School organized fun races for the classes Nursery and KG.

Nursery A: Run and pass through the hoopla ring.

Nursery B: Balance the smiley ball on tray.

Nursery C: Balance the smiley ball (Relay race)

The students of KG-A and KG-B balanced the ball on the cone and reached the finishing point. The day provided a unique opportunity for students to come together and compete with each other to attain higher levels of sporting excellence.
